Anterior smile-zone restoration

This case involved restoring the visible maxillary anterior region while preserving a natural appearance across the central and lateral incisor area. The patient presented with bone loss and periodontal issues. The goal of this case was to close the large visible spaces of his anterior teeth. The restorations were fabricated as monolithic LiSi Press and characterized with MiYO to support a lifelike final result.

Anterior cases like this benefit from clear shade communication, accurate records, good photography, and a defined esthetic goal before fabrication begins.

Improve the anterior presentation

The primary goal was to improve form, symmetry, and visible esthetics in the anterior region without creating a restoration that looked overly artificial.

LiSi Press with MiYO

LiSi Press was selected for the anterior restorations, with MiYO characterization used to add surface depth, value control, and natural-looking visual detail.

Records matter

For cases in the smile zone, shade photos, stump shade when relevant, opposing records, bite information, and clear expectations help reduce guesswork.

What helps us deliver a better anterior result?

The best anterior outcomes usually come from a combination of accurate impressions or scans, clear margin visibility, correct bite records, and useful photos. When the doctor can communicate the desired shade, value, shape, and character of the final restorations, the lab has a much stronger target.

For larger esthetic cases, we are glad to review details before fabrication so expectations are aligned early.
